Terms and Conditions
Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before placing an order with Labels World (labelsworld.co.uk). By placing an order online or offline, you agree to be legally bound by the following terms.
1. General Terms
- Labels World offers custom printing services for labels and stickers.
- A contract is formed only after written acceptance or confirmation of an order by Labels World.
- You must be at least 18 years of age and legally capable of entering into binding contracts.
2. Commencement and Term
- These Terms come into effect when you place an order with Labels World.
- All orders are considered custom-made unless stated otherwise and are accepted upon full payment and confirmation.
3. Payment & Refund Policy
- Cheques are not accepted.
- Payments can be made via VISA, debit/credit card, or PayPal.
- Orders are confirmed only after full payment is received.
- Custom orders are non-refundable and cannot be cancelled once production begins.
- For expedited services (e.g., 24 or 48-hour), only the rush fee is refundable if delays occur, not the base order amount.
4. Returns & Cancellations
- Non-custom items can be returned within 7 working days in unused condition with a 25% restocking fee.
- Customer bears the cost of return shipping.
- Refunds are processed within 30 days of receiving returned goods.
- Custom items cannot be returned due to their bespoke nature.
- Orders cancelled under Force Majeure must be returned at customer’s expense within 7 days.
5. Cutting, Adhesion, and Finishing
- Precision cutting is available at an additional cost. Standard cutting may result in slight white borders.
- Labels require at least 24 hours curing time in a dry, shaded area after application.
- It is the customer’s responsibility to test a sample before placing a full order. Labels World is not liable for poor adhesion due to incompatible surfaces.
- Lamination may present minor imperfections such as bubbles or uneven texture, which do not affect product functionality.
6. Design and Artwork
- A minimum design fee of £20.00 applies to any creative service.
- Files must be submitted in CMYK format at 300 DPI with 2mm bleed on all sides.
- RGB files or incorrect submissions may result in print colour variances.
- Proofs must be approved by the customer before print. Labels World is not liable for errors post-approval.
- Fonts must be embedded or provided by the customer to avoid substitutions.
7. Quantities and Turnaround
- Turnaround times are estimates, excluding weekends and holidays.
- Production begins only after artwork is approved and payment is confirmed.
- Deliveries are based on estimated times and are not guaranteed.
- A 10–15% quantity variance may occur due to production tolerances.
8. Delivery
- Standard dispatch is within 3–5 working days post-approval.
- Delays due to courier or external factors are not the responsibility of Labels World.
- Customers must inspect and sign for goods as ‘unchecked’ unless verified.
9. Ownership & Intellectual Property
- Goods remain the property of Labels World until full payment is received.
- Labels World may use any customer artwork for promotional purposes unless otherwise agreed.
- Customers shall indemnify Labels World for any claims related to infringement of third-party rights.
10. Labels World Assurance
- We will replace or refund orders only if there is an error on our part (e.g., wrong size or material).
- This does not cover customer errors, late delivery, or transit damage caused by third parties.
11. Indemnity
- Customers agree to indemnify Labels World against all liabilities arising from breach or negligence.
- This includes third-party claims, legal fees, and professional costs.
12. Force Majeure
- Labels World is not liable for delays or failure to perform due to events beyond reasonable control.
- In such cases, timelines will be extended proportionally.
13. Variations
- These Terms may be updated at any time. Customers are advised to review them regularly.
- Updated terms will supersede previous versions posted on the site.
14. Jurisdiction
- These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
- The courts of England and Wales shall have non-exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes.
